The Southeastern Permaculture Gathering
1st Weekend in August

Going on for more than 30 years, this annual tradition of gathering in nature, camping for a weekend and creating a community village is a cherished bioregional event.
People from all walks of life attend and share permaculture principles, great food prepared together on site, stories and music by the campfire, an open space educational format where anyone can teach on a topic of their choice
There's also a seed exchange, ceremony, shared effort and celebration! It happens the first weekend of every August and is a family friendly event with a childrens' program, plant, mushroom and bug walks, wild foods and wise teachers of how to live close to the earth with love and respect.
